The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) (SCQF level 6) qualification is specifically designed for people who wish to act as a first aider in their workplace or at home. Our courses are suitable for anyone aged 16+, however delegates should be physically able to conduct the practical elements of the course such as CPR, manual handling casualties etc. Please note that access to our training centre is via several steps and that there is no lift or lifting facilities.
Successful delegates will learn how to manage a range of injuries and illnesses that could occur at work and will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give emergency first aid.
The course runs from 9am until 4.30pm each day, with a lunch break between the morning and afternoon sessions. Full joining instructions will be issued on completion of payment. This course offers a practical, hands-on approach that delivers the skills and confidence to use first aid skills in a real-life situation. Our instructors are predominantly UK Armed Forces veterans with many years teaching and life experience. For added reassurance, each delegate is assessed throughout the course using a range of practical demonstrations, Q&A sessions, quizzes and engaging activities designed to coach and support you through the course. Please note that access to our training centre is via several steps and that there is no lift or lifting facilities.
